Eva Mendes was born in America. She is an American actor, model as well as a singer. The agent that spotted her and recognized her abilities encouraged her to enter the entertainment industry. After some thought and contemplation, she made the decision to quit school to start a new career within the entertainment business. In the movie Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror she debuted in a shaky performance. Her acting skills were developed through appearances in low-budget film productions. The path to becoming an actor was not easy however she was successful because of her willpower and perseverance. The actress received fame and favorable reviews for her role in the film Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
